Last Sunday 24 September, the 6th and last Round of the Anchored Vessel Fishing Trial 2017 was held.
The result of the 4 best rounds of the 6 carried out by each angler will give the General Classification of the 2017 Anchored Vessel Fishing Trial. The anglers classified in the first places will represent the Club in the provincial, regional and national competitions to be held in 2018.
In the early hours of the morning last Sunday, and after the skippers’ meeting and draw, the 6th Round of the Anchored Vessel Fishing Trial commenced. The area assigned for the competition was the zone called “JUNQUICOS” and a total of 8 boats and 29 anglers took part in this last round in 2017.
The competition ended at midday and the weigh-in was carried out at 12:30, with good catches per angler ranging from 1,240 g to 5,970 g. The largest fish, with a weight of 580 g. was caught by Javier Navarro Espejo.
The first three classified were:
1. – Francisco Fuentes Juarez on the boat “Avizor” with a catch of 5,970 g.
2. – Juan J. Ortiz Lorente on the boat “Duna” with a catch of 5,210 g.
3. – Javier Navarro Espejo on the boat “Pichim” with a total of 5,140 g.
